We Believe In Life Change...

when you forever open the door of your heart to Jesus Christ who died for YOU and lives for you.  Jesus, in you, literally changes you into a new person from the inside out.

We Believe In Grace...

to live the life you were meant to live with the help & power of the Holy Spirit.

We Believe In Eternal Life...

you do have a choice of where to spend eternity. Getting to heaven will not be achieved by the good things you do, but by believing and confessing Jesus Christ as Lord of your life.

One God

There is one living and true God, infinite in glory, wisdom, holiness, justice, power and love, one in His essence but eternally substantial in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible

The books which form the canon of the Old and New testaments as originally given are God  inspired and free from all error. These books constitute the written word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

Creation

God sovereignly created the world out of nothing.  God created man in His own image, in a state of original righteousness, from which he subsequently fell in voluntary rebellion, and as a consequence is guilty of sin.  He is inherently corrupt, depraved, in bondage to the sin nature, and subject to divine wrath without the regenerate power of Christ that comes with repentance and the living presence of Christ in one’s life.

Jesus the Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal, divine Son of God, one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. In His incarnation, He united to His divine nature a true human nature, and so is both God and man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and fulfilled the requirements of the law by His sinless life.  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, and poured out His blood as a vicarious and propitiatory atonement for sin in satisfaction of the divine justice.  On the third day He was raised from the dead in the same body, now glorified. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father interceding in Glory for His redeemed.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and the Son.  He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.   Through the ministry of regeneration and sanctification, He applies salvation to the repentant sinner, guides and comforts the children of God, and directs and empowers the church in fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Salvation

Salvation consists of the remission of sins, the impartation of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, the gift of eternal life and all of the Biblical blessings that salvation implies.  These are a free gift of God, and received by grace through faith alone apart from human works of merit. Even the ability to believe (faith) is a gift of God.  This faith enables man to fulfill his responsibility to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is then to publicly proclaim his identity with Christ by immersion in water baptism.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The Lord Jesus Christ baptizes regenerated believers in the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is an empowering work of the Spirit which is distinct from the regenerating work of the Spirit.  All regenerated believers are candidates for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.  They simply need to ask.  The consequence of speaking in tongues is made available to persons baptized in the Holy Spirit.  All nine gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Cor. 12:4-11 continue to be expressed in the church today and are subject to the order prescribed by Scripture.

Communion

Communion is to be taken frequently and offered to all who profess Jesus Christ Lord of their lives.  Communion is a holy exercise and should be revered by all, not taken for granted as those who would live in unrepentant rebellion or immorality.  The communion elements are representative of Christ's body and blood and should be taken in an exercise of faith in the person of Jesus Christ, celebrating the only means of absolving guilt, shame, and punishment of sin.

The Church

The church is the universal body of Christ.  It is comprised of all redeemed believers in Jesus, unified by the living presence of Christ in them.  They demonstrate His very character and nature, and are commissioned to go into all the world and make disciples of all the nations.

The Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is the all-encompassing rule and reign of Christ.  It is a present reality and a future hope, aggressively advancing the purposes of God through the agency of the church.

Death

At death, the souls of the redeemed enter into the presence of Christ, enjoying conscious fellowship with Him, awaiting the resurrection of the body.

The Return

The Lord Jesus Christ will return at the consummation of all things.  He will judge the living and the dead and will effect a final separation of the redeemed and the lost, assigning unbelievers to eternal punishment and believers to eternal glory.
