We all have good intentions when it comes to the changes we want to make in life. But good intentions never seem to be enough to produce lasting change. We can even get some instructions on how to implement the change we want, but eventually we have to do something with the information we’ve been given. Unapplied truth is like unapplied paint. It doesn’t do anybody any good. The value is in the application. Merely reading the Bible or coming to church and hearing a sermon is one thing. But real life-change happens in the “doing”. Application makes all the difference. Information without application does not lead to transformation.
